Measles Mumps and Rubella Immunity (MMR) Blood Test

MMR stands for measles, mumps, and rubella. An MMR antibody test checks to see if you’re immune to these diseases.

Why would you benefit from an MMR immunity test?
An MMR test looks for antibodies to measles, mumps, and rubella. It tells you whether you’re immune to these three diseases. If you’ve had MMR in the past
or you’re vaccinated, your immune system has antibodies to fight the viruses.
These antibodies show in your blood, indicating immunity.

What biomarkers are we looking at?
• Measles antibodies (IgG)
• Mumps antibodies (IgG)
• Rubella antibodies (IgG)
