Do I need to bring photographic ID to the nurse appointment?
You will need to bring a photo ID to your appointment. If you do not present ID during your appointment you can continue to have the test, but we will not be able to verify your test should antibody status verification be required. If you arrive at your appointment without acceptable ID and wish to be able to verify your test, we can reschedule your appointment but there will be a charge of £20.
Accepted ID includes current passport, current UK or EEA photocard driving licence, EEA member state identity card or a national identity card bearing a photograph. Please note that only originals can be accepted for verification
How is the blood sample sent to the lab?
Your sample will be transported to the lab via a courier network or by Royal Mail post.
Please be aware that our partner lab may not be able to generate a result from every test due to a variety of factors. This may include haemolysis of the sample. In these circumstances we would do our best to offer a replacement test and nurse appointment that suits you.
