Advanced Heart Health Blood Test

This test looks at the genetic, metabolic, and inflammatory factors that drive heart disease, giving you a more complete picture of your cardiovascular risk.

Why take the Advanced Heart Health Test?

This test gives you a more complete picture of your cardiovascular health. It looks at apolipoprotein levels, which are more accurate at predicting heart disease risk than standard cholesterol tests. It also measures lipoprotein(a), the main genetic risk factor for heart disease. It also checks for inflammation, which can increase cardiovascular risk independently of cholesterol levels.

What biomarkers are we looking at?

  • Lipoprotein(a)
  • Apolipoprotein A1
  • Apolipoprotein B
  • Apolipoprotein B/A1 ratio
  • LDL cholesterol
  • HDL cholesterol
  • Non-HDL cholesterol
  • Total cholesterol
  • Triglycerides
  • Total cholesterol/HDL ratio
  • Triglyceride/HDL ratio
  • High-sensitivity CRP
